Treatment For Parkinson's Disease Sought By U Of L
A nation-wide study that could lead to treatments for Parkinson's disease is going to be headed by the University of Louisville.
Parkinson's is the neurological disorder that gradually drains its victims of such basic abilities as walking and talking.
The research at U of L is being funded with a $3.4 million grant from the National Institutes of Health. It involves seven other institutions and is the nation's first comprehensive look at a rare Parkinson's-like disorder called progressive supranuclear palsy......
